Luke Combs performs at Ullevi in Göteborg with The Script, Ty Myers, and The Castellows as special guests. One of the world's biggest country artists brings his My Kinda Saturday Night Tour to Sweden.
The Script are an Irish pop-rock band from Dublin, formed in 2001 by singer Danny O'Donoghue and guitarist Mark Sheehan - childhood friends who had previously written songs in Los Angeles for artists including Britney Spears and TLC. Their debut album went straight to number one in both Ireland and the UK in 2008, and the band went on to rack up six UK chart-toppers and eight in Ireland, earning them the title of Official Irish Charts' Artist of the Decade for 2010-2019. Co-founder Mark Sheehan died in April 2023; the remaining members have continued with two new bandmates and released the album 'Satellites' in 2024, followed by a new record 'The User's Guide to Being Human' due August 2026.
The Script announced their ninth studio album 'The User's Guide to Being Human', due 14 August 2026, alongside lead single 'Man In The Arena' and a global arena tour running from October 2026 to April 2027.
The band is set to play to over 1.3 million fans across 15 UK stadium shows as special guests to Take That, followed by five dates with Luke Combs including Slane Castle in Ireland.
The Script released 'Satellites', their seventh studio album and first since the death of co-founder Mark Sheehan, featuring new members Ben Sargeant and Ben Weaver.
The band officially announced that long-time touring bassist Ben Sargeant and guitarist Ben Weaver had joined as full members, expanding the lineup to a four-piece.
Co-founder and lead guitarist Mark Sheehan died on 14 April 2023 at the age of 46 following a brief illness.
