Tomma Intet is a seven-piece collective from Gothenburg that took shape during the winter of 2016, drawing on 60s dream pop and 80s new wave in roughly equal measure. The band has released four albums via Welfare Sounds & Records - ...And the Fallen Universe (2018), DABDA (2020), Ultradreams (2023) and Hisingen Taxi Rider (2025), the last of which was their first record written entirely in Swedish. Swedish critics have placed them among the country's leading alternative rock acts, and their live shows regularly sell out.
Tomma Intet released the digital EP 'Gå varsamt, här vilar en dröm', which received praise from critic Fredrik Strage among others.
The band celebrates its 10th anniversary with a concert at Gothenburg Film Studios (Filmstudion) on 10 October 2026.
Fourth album 'Hisingen Taxi Rider' was released on 9 May 2025 via Welfare Sounds & Records - the band's first record written entirely in Swedish.
The band held a release party at Pustervik in Gothenburg on 30 May 2025 to celebrate the new album.
