Víkingur Ólafsson (born 14 February 1984 in Reykjavík) is an Icelandic pianist signed to Deutsche Grammophon, whose recordings have surpassed one billion streams. He broke through internationally with his 2018 Bach album and has since won the 2025 Grammy for Best Classical Instrumental Solo, the 2025 Nordic Council Music Prize, and the Royal Philharmonic Society Gold Medal, among many other honours.
