O-Ringen 2026

O-Ringen 2026 takes place in Göteborg during week 30, with O-Ringenstad located on Stora Holm. This is the third time the city hosts the competition - previously in 2004 and before that in 1990.

During the competition week, approximately 125 classes are held, including Elittour, 5-day, 3-day, Etappstart, Youth Relay and Training Courses with timing. The disciplines include orienteering, mountain bike orienteering and precision orienteering. O-Ringen typically attracts 18-20,000 participants of all ages, from elite to beginners - when the competition was held in Uppsala in 2022, just over 20,000 people participated.

Beyond the competition classes, there are activities such as try-it-yourself, mini-races for the youngest and indoor orienteering. More information about the programme and activities can be found on the O-Ringen website.
