The Hidden Treasures of the Herbarium

A herbarium is far more than a collection of old dried plants, algae, and fungi. Each pressed leaf is a preserved moment from nature's history - gathered by botanists, explorers, and researchers across the centuries. Herbaria also play an active role in modern research, connecting past discoveries with today's science.

The exhibition is a collaboration with Gothenburg Global Biodiversity Centre and the Sambio project.

Location: Galleri Floras rike. Open at 12:00 daily and closes when the Besökscentrum closes.
