Gothenburg's Botaniska trädgården is one of the largest botanical gardens in Europe, home to around 16,000 plant species. It opened in 1923 and features landscapes ranging from a Japanese garden to sweeping rhododendron hillsides. The garden regularly hosts outdoor events, guided tours and seasonal exhibitions.
