WADUDU and The Garden - Two Dance Performances
The evening features two dance performances: WADUDU and a preview of the upcoming work The Garden.
WADUDU
A dance performance that emerges from Mpululu Ntuwe's personal and psychological journey. She draws from the world of small insects - ants, spiders, and antlions - as symbols of work identity, ego, survival mechanisms, and systemic demands. Through these figures, she explores how humans are shaped by both external and internal forces.
The Garden / Tevin Redvall
Tevin Redvall is one of this year's artists in the Gothenburg Dance and Theatre Festival's street project Next Move. In 2026, Stora Teatern co-produces his performance The Garden, with its premiere on the same stage. This evening presents a preview of what will become the final result.
The Garden is a three-part dance performance about what it means to be human - about development, breakdown, and integration. The work is built on the idea that human development is not linear but moves in spirals: we grow as much as we fall back, and then learn to integrate all of this into a more conscious whole.
