The debut album Bad With Names was nominated for the Mercury Prize in 2024 and won Best Album at the Scottish Jazz Awards. In 2025, corto.alto won Act Of The Year at the Jazz FM Awards (audience vote, competing against Ezra Collective and Nubya Garcia) and UK Independent Breakthrough at the AIM Awards.
Following a signing to Ninja Tune, corto.alto has released the singles Don't Listen, Vandal, and April feat. anaiis. The tracks have been streamed over 3,000 times globally in less than six weeks, landed on the BBC 6 Music A-Playlist, and Don't Listen features in the FC26 soundtrack.
Over the past 24 months, corto.alto and the band have performed over 150 concerts - including at Glastonbury (West Holts Stage), We Out Here (closing main stage), and headline slots at Latitude, North Sea Jazz, Montreux, and Cross The Tracks. A sold-out UK tour concluded with a performance in front of 2,000 people at Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow.
