Lunchteater: Lotte Laserstein

A musical theatre performance about the artist Lotte Laserstein (1898-1993). We meet her upon her arrival in Sweden in 1937, after she was forced to leave Berlin. She recalls her success, doubts her future, but continues to paint: "A day without painting is a lost day". In her later years, her life takes an unexpected turn.

Performers: Catherine Westling (actress), Martin Ellborg (musician/actor), Thomas Hertzman and Ove Lindqvist (musicians).

The performance runs as a lunchteater with a varying menu depending on the day:
Tuesday: Asian chicken meatballs served with lime and ginger yoghurt plus roasted vegetables
Wednesday: Salted cod with braised spinach, lemon and boiled potatoes
Thursday: Lasagne with herb béchamel served with caprese salad and salt-roasted seeds
Friday: Pork with root vegetable mash and horseradish sauce

Also runs as an afterwork event on 11 November, doors open at 15.30, food is served from 15.45 and the performance begins at 16.30.
