When We See Us: A Century of Black Figurative Painting is an internationally acclaimed exhibition recognized as one of the most significant of our time. It features over 155 works borrowed from institutions and private collections in 26 countries.

The works have been created by Black artists from around the world over the past century and are presented in dialogue with contemporary Black thinkers, writers, and poets.
