New Stockholm - The Turn of the Century 1900
Sun, 21 Jun 2026 · — Sun, 30 Aug
Stockholm is constantly changing, but the decades around 1900 marked a particularly dramatic transformation. The city evolved from a rural archipelago town into a modern capital, its population doubled, and conflicts and contradictions came to the surface. Many embraced the new, while others saw something valuable disappear.
The exhibition illuminates this turning point through hundreds of objects, drawings and photographs from the City Museum's collections - all displayed for the first time.
