About the venue

Stockholm City Museum occupies a 17th-century baroque building at Slussen, originally built as a town hall for the city's southern districts. Its permanent and temporary exhibitions cover Stockholm's history from the Middle Ages to the present, with a focus on everyday urban life. The building was designed by Nicodemus Tessin the Elder.
