Stockholm Storytelling Festival

57 storytellers from 17 countries gather in Stockholm for eight days of oral storytelling art. The festival opens with three days of international performances and workshops - featuring storytellers from Ireland, Palestine, the USA and many more.

Then comes the Storytellers' Square: five evenings outdoors in Gamla stan where some of Sweden's finest storytellers perform, with nothing but their voice and their stories.

This is the first time in ten years that an international storytelling festival has been held in the capital.
