About the venue

Stockholm City Museum occupies a 17th-century baroque building at Södermalmstorg, designed by Nicodemus Tessin the Elder. Its permanent and temporary exhibitions trace the city's history from the Middle Ages to the present day, covering urban life, architecture and everyday Stockholmers. The building itself is one of the finest preserved baroque structures in Sweden.
