Chiara Bugatti - Horror Vacui

The exhibition's title, Horror Vacui, is Latin for "fear of emptiness" - a concept used in both art and physics.

Fear of emptiness is not merely a formal matter but an urgent one: ecological, political. What is feared is not emptiness itself, but the absence of solid ground - a world without guarantees, without an assigned place to stand, without a natural foundation for belonging.
