Mieko Kawakami meets Yukiko Duke in conversation at the International Author Stage on 29 September.

Kawakami achieved breakthrough success with "Breast and Eggs", and this autumn she presents "Heaven" - a novel about alienation, friendship and survival that was shortlisted for the International Booker Prize in 2022.
