Kulturhuset Stadsteatern sits on Sergels torg in central Stockholm and opened in 1974. Designed by architect Peter Celsing, the building houses multiple stages, exhibition spaces, a library and cafés. Stockholm's city theatre runs theatre, dance and performance productions here, drawing hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.
