About: Candlemass

Formed in Stockholm's suburbs in 1984, Candlemass essentially invented epic doom metal - a genre that still bears the title of their debut record. Thirteen studio albums and four decades of heavy riffing later, Leif Edling's band remains one of the most influential acts in metal history.
