Multi-instrumentalist and composer Cochemea Gastelum brings over 25 years of experience on the international music scene, with collaborations including Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, Amy Winehouse, The Roots, and Quincy Jones.

He is now releasing the album Vol. 3: Ancestros Futuros on Daptone Records, recorded live with analog technology alongside a carefully selected band from New York's funk scene. Drawing from Yaqui traditions, he explores themes of heritage, survival, and belonging.

Live, Cochemea performs on saxophone, flute, and percussion.
