Filter — Gnistan, Folkets Hus Gullänget, Örnsköldsvik

Agnes, 42, runs the lifestyle blog "Vardagar vid kusten" and presents her 95,000 followers with what appears to be a calm and well-ordered life. But behind the images are cracks: her marriage to Henrik is strained, and after an affair during a trip to France, Agnes no longer knows how to move forward.

She flees to her mother's house - convinced it will be empty while Eva is on holiday - but is surprised when her mother appears and looks as though she has been through an accident. Both mother and daughter carry secrets, carefully hidden from each other and from the world. In their encounter, reality begins to break through the layers of filters, pretences, and self-deceptions built up over the years.

Filter is a dramedy about loneliness in our narcissistic age, about how digital lives can create distance rather than closeness, and about relationships that require more than perfect images to survive. The play is written by Emma Broström and directed by Anna Novovic, recently known for "När strippklubben kom till byn" and "Jag som var så rolig att dricka vin med". Performance length: 2 hours including intermission.
