Sophie Zelmani

Sophie Zelmani has been active since the 1990s, maintaining a deeply personal and uncompromising artistic voice throughout her career. Her understated music and distinctive voice are instantly recognizable. She typically tours with a full band, but for this church tour she has chosen a completely different musical setting.

On stage she performs with her longtime producer and guitarist Lars Halapi - a stripped-down duo format where the church's acoustics carry the music. The repertoire is tailored for the occasion, featuring well-known songs in new arrangements adapted to the church's vaulted spaces.
