Nordbor is the Nordic Museum's account of people and life in the Nordic region over 500 years - told through real human stories as main characters and the Nordic landscape as backdrop.
The exhibition draws on 4,000 objects, photographs and archival materials from the museum's collections to explore how Nordic culture and everyday life have been shaped and reshaped over time. What does nature mean to people? What do family and home look like? What do Nordic people believe in, what do they dream of, what frightens them and where do they find comfort?
