Nordiska museet on Djurgården is Sweden's largest museum of Nordic cultural history. The grand Renaissance Revival building was designed by Isak Gustaf Clason and opened in 1907. Its collections cover everyday life, traditions and material culture in the Nordic countries from the 1500s to the present, including folk costumes, furniture and Sami heritage.
