Born in Ethiopia and raised in Gothenburg, Lemma built his name on vintage-sounding soul and blues - his single 'If I Used to Love You' from the Jalla! Jalla! soundtrack fooled radio listeners into thinking it was a long-lost classic. His catalogue now spans more than a decade of releases, from reggae-flavoured records to a 2025 tribute to poet Karin Boye.
