Daniel Lemma is a Swedish singer-songwriter born in Ethiopia, rooted in blues, gospel and American roots music. He broke through with the soundtrack to Josef Fares's film Jalla! Jalla! (2000) and the gold-selling album Morning Train (2001). He has since released around ten albums, several on his own label Dextra Music.
