Tomas Andersson Wij (born 6 February 1972 in Stockholm, also known as TAW) is a Swedish singer-songwriter and journalist who debuted as a recording artist in 1998 after years writing for Svenska Dagbladet and music press. His breakthrough album Ett slag för dig (2000) earned a Swedish Grammy nomination for Best Lyrics, and over a 25-year career he has built a devoted following through personal, socially aware songwriting rooted in a domestic folk-pop tradition. He has received all three of Sweden's Evert Taube scholarships and had his lyrics published in book form by Bonniers.
The 'Kyrkorna' church tour extended into 2026, with new dates including Östersund's Stora kyrkan on 9 May, and a planned finale at Filadelfiakyrkan on 3 October alongside a new studio album.
A limited-edition double vinyl recorded live at Katarina kyrka on 21 November 2025 was announced, with the first two tracks released digitally on Good Friday.
Kyrkans Tidning reported that the 'Kyrkorna 2025' tour concluded with over 50 concerts across Sweden, most of them sold out, making it Andersson Wij's longest and most successful tour to date.
