About the venue

Norrlandsoperan is northern Sweden's national stage for opera and music theatre, based in Umeå. It runs its own orchestra and ensemble, and productions regularly tour across the Norrland region. The building sits along the Umeå river and is one of the area's most prominent cultural venues.
