Tchaikovsky and Dvorák

The concert opens with Anna Clyne's orchestral work Within Her Arms, followed by Pyotr Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 with its renowned powerful opening. The soloist is Israeli pianist Yoav Levanon.
After the interval, Antonín Dvorák's Symphony No. 6 is performed, composed in the 1880s and inspired by Bohemian folk music. The third movement features a furiant, a lively dance rhythm from Bohemia. The conductor is Sora Elisabeth Lee.
