Physical Introduction to the Performance La Venidera

Explore the movement language and rhythms of flamenco with dance educator Sofia Lindgren before the evening performance of La Venidera. During this physical introduction, you will learn the fundamentals - you may well recognize the movements when you later watch the performance from your seat in the audience.

Sofia runs Sofias Flamenco in Umeå, where she teaches, choreographs, and performs. She has choreographed Bernardas hus for Riksteatern and regularly leads study trips to Spain.

No prior experience is required and you do not need to change clothes - come as you are. Immediately after the physical introduction, a spoken introduction to the work will be held in the main foyer.
