Beethoven and Saariaho

The concert opens with Pelagic Dreamscape by Norwegian composer Kristine Tjøgersen, followed by Trans for harp and orchestra by Kaija Saariaho - a work where the harp takes centre stage. The soloist is Erik Groenstein-Hendriks, harpist with Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, and the conductor is Izabelė Jankauskaitė from Lithuania.

The evening concludes with Ludwig van Beethoven's Symphony No. 6, the Pastoral Symphony, which is part of Norrlandsoperan's Beethoven year.
