Autumn Holiday Concert with Norrlandsoperan Symphony Orchestra

Norrlandsoperans Symfoniorkester brings an interactive autumn-break concert to Norrlandsoperan in Umeå on Wednesday, 28 October 2026 at 1 p.m. Designed for children aged 5 to 10, the concert introduces how a symphony orchestra works. Host Kristina Sturk guides the audience through the orchestra's different instrument groups - from strings and woodwinds to percussion. Young listeners get to try conducting and participate musically alongside the musicians. The orchestra performs at four Swedish venues during this period, with two concerts taking place at Norrlandsoperan in Umeå. Ticket sales begin 11 August at noon, with standard admission at 150 SEK.
