Malandain Ballet Biarritz meets Norrlandsoperan Symphony Orchestra

The Firebird and The Four Seasons

The French company Malandain Ballet Biarritz visits Norrlandsoperan with two works performed live by the Norrlandsoperan Symphony Orchestra. On stage are 22 classically trained dancers with a contemporary expression characteristic of Thierry Malandain's style.

Act 1 (30 min) is The Firebird, danced to Igor Stravinsky's music in a neoclassical interpretation. Act 2 (60 min) is The Four Seasons - a choreographic weaving of music by Antonio Vivaldi and Giovanni Antonio Guido. Between them is a 30-minute intermission.

An introduction is held at 18:30 in the foyer. Audio description is offered on Saturday, October 17 with interpreter Stina Lundin.

Ticket sales begin August 11 at 12:00. Prices: Regular 625 kr, senior 560 kr, student 310 kr, ages 19-26 310 kr, up to 18 years 100 kr, group (minimum 10 people) 560 kr.
