Sunshine Olympiad

The museum's new core exhibition tells the story of the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm. The exhibition recreates the festive atmosphere of that summer and invites visitors to try several sports from the Games, such as diving from 10 metres, shooting pistol with the Carlberg twins, and timing the 100-metre final. In the exhibition, modelled on Stockholm Stadium, visitors can also learn more about what guests from near and far could do in Stockholm, how they dressed, and how they entertained themselves.
