Castle Tour: Selma Lagerlöf

Selma Lagerlöf was a regular guest at Nääs Castle for several decades around the turn of the 20th century. She visited the author Sophie Elkan - August Abrahamsson's sister and a close friend.

During her stays at Nääs, Selma found both inspiration and peace for her work. Many of her most celebrated works were created here, and in "The Wonderful Adventures of Nils" an entire chapter is devoted to Nääs.

The tour is led by Hanna Konnebäck, a literary scholar with experience from Mårbacka. She shares insights into Selma's connection to the place and the legacy she left behind.
