Eight-year-old Minou and her father accidentally hit a cat with their car. Minou begs and pleads until the cat is allowed to come home - despite her father's hatred of cats, especially this one. The house fills with cat-related situations, cat mathematics, and various misunderstandings.

Minou and the cat become best friends. But her father grows jealous: what does that scruffy cat have that he doesn't? An epic power struggle begins. Will it end in a cat-astrophe, or will everyone save everyone?

Paws on the Heart is a humorous drama by Elmira Arikan about a child's longing for a pet - but also about the desire to be heard. The production is a co-production between Riksteatern Barn & Unga and Unga Dramaten.
