Oss Swingers Emellan — Intiman, Stockholm

The farce "Oss Swingers Emellan" plays at Intiman in Stockholm for a short run - 3 September to 24 October. Following a sold-out summer season in Kalmar in 2025, it is now Stockholm's turn.

Colleagues Johan and David (Thomas Petersson and Måns Nathanaelson) have skipped work and sent their wives to a spa to enjoy a peaceful golf weekend at Björkmåla Golf & Konferens. The plans unravel when they encounter their stern boss K.G. Sundholm (Hanna Hedlund), who wants to meet the wives - and suddenly a chaotic chain of lies and mix-ups begins. Receptionist Tina (Clara Henry) is forced to play a wife, David to play Johan's husband, and Johan's ex to play dead. No one seems to get to play golf.

The chaos is compounded by a crashed telephone system, manager Mrs Karlén (Charlott Strandberg) hunting for infidelities in the corridors, and the hypochondriac caretaker Bengtsson (Victor Morell). When the real wives Karin and Lotta (Anna-Karin Palmgren and Martina Sundén) finally show up, the circus is in full swing.

The play was written by Michael Parker under the original title "Whose Wives Are They Anyway?" and translated into Swedish by Pär Nymark. Direction: Klas Wiljergård. Presented in agreement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc. (www.concordtheatricals.com). Theatre publisher: Nordiska ApS - www.nordiska.dk.

Critical response from the Kalmar season: Expressen called the production "a genuine farce, wild, utterly mad and skilfully executed". Barometern gave it 5/5 and wrote "Masterful - the best farce ever staged". Du i Fokus, also 5/5: "Brisk and funny - as a farce should be".

Premiere: 3 September. Run: 3 September - 24 October. Performance length: approximately 2 hours and 10 minutes, including interval. Recommended from age 7.
