I list & lust

I list & lust comprises two short comic baroque operas with 300 years of history: Giovanni Battista Pergolesi's "La serva padrona" and Georg Philipp Telemann's "Pimpinone". The shared theme is servant girls who scheme to climb socially - and hopefully find love along the way. The production is modernized and adapted for touring, with baroque music accompanied by more contemporary elements.

How do you succeed in a job interview without revealing your hidden agenda? What happens if you fall in love with your boss in a two-person company? And how much can you fake at work without getting fired? We meet a smart and resourceful woman in two different time periods doing her best to get ahead - and perhaps even find true love.
