The Father by Florian Zeller

In Teater Trixter's production of The Father, Philip Lithner (Dramaten, Riksteatern, Shakespearefabriken) performs all roles alone in Florian Zeller's drama about a man who can no longer trust his own reality - while his daughter grapples with one of life's most difficult choices.

Director Daniel Adolfsson (Helsingborgs Stadsteater, Riksteatret, Teater Tofta) and producer Charlotte Davidson have developed a concept where Lithner shifts between characters through movement patterns and directions. Sound, light and music intensify the sense of being caught between hope and despair, while the set design and costumes deliberately leave space for the audience's own imagination.
