Moa

A theatrical production about the life of writer Moa Martinson - from illegitimate farm child to acclaimed working-class author. Lisbeth Johansson portrays her with sharp shifts between darkness and humour, accompanied by newly composed music by Carita Jonsson.

The production depicts her courage and directness, her turbulent marriage to Harry Martinson, and how she debuted as a writer at age 43. Direction: Maria Hörnelius. Set design and costumes: Ina Nyholm.

The City of Gothenburg's cultural committee has provided support for the project.
