The Secrets of Marriage

Äktenskapets hemligheter arrives in Uddevalla on Saturday, 3 October 2026, when Carolina Sandgren performs this opera double at Regionteater Väst's main stage, Uddevallascenen Scen 1. Two rarely performed operas explore the contradictions of marriage - from a Chekhov monologue to Italian comedy - through love, jealousy, and truths hidden in smoke. Regionteater Väst is one of Sweden's regional theatres, and its Uddevalla stage sits in the city centre with a programme spanning classical drama, contemporary plays, and musical theatre.
