Daff Daffs Busfrön

A musical evening in collaboration with Hållandsgården, featuring the performance "Förnimmelser" by Marianne Folkedotter and Rickard N Jokela.

The performance weaves together poetry, music and song to explore contemporary questions and emotions. Words and music form a unified whole with the aim of lifting hope and strengthening resilience.

Marianne Folkedotter is a storyteller, poet and songwriter known for performances in and beyond Västerbotten. In 2022 she debuted with the poetry collection "En skog som går omkring bland husen", which was later staged with music by Rickard N Jokela. Rickard N Jokela is a bassist and composer influenced by jazz, Indian raga and contemporary classical music. After travels to Japan, India and Switzerland, he has developed his own approach to improvisation and solo performance.

Hållandsgården offers a vegetarian buffet before the performance - tickets can be booked with or without dinner. Arranged in collaboration with Studieförbundet Vuxenskolan, with financial support from Jämtkraft, Swedbank's Owner Foundation Jämtland County and Åre Municipality.
