A Heart in These Times

Lisa, approaching seventy, is accused of a serious crime. During her police interrogation, she begins to tell her story - and soon she is controlling the conversation, while reality twists out of shape. Something happened on the platform, but what? Is Lisa a victim or a perpetrator?

Ann Petrén and Anna Wallander meet in an eerie interrogation drama with a keen eye for the sad comedy of everyday life. Piece by piece, the ominous puzzle of Lisa's worldview comes together in a drama about the consequences of loneliness and insecurity - and the unwillingness to bear guilt.

The play is written by John Ajvide Lindqvist and directed by Anna Takanen, who previously directed Ajvide Lindqvist's "The Forbidden" at St. Paul's Church in Stockholm in 2019 - the production where the character Lisa first saw the light of day.
