Now We Do This Together

Poet Ismael Ataria takes the stage with a new performance where parenthood and "the small life" take centre stage. The everyday becomes grand, the simple becomes sacred - and the narrative moves between generations, between Ismael and his parents Lars and Laila, whose voices are woven into the performance.

Their thoughts, memories and wisdom form a kind of poetic legacy that flows through the entire performance, in body and soul.

The performance is aimed at everyone who struggles with being there for others - whether or not you have children or have been a child. Note: elements of Värmland dialect appear, but they are usually understandable, especially with the heart.
