Pettson & Findus "The Pancake Cake"

The play "The Pancake Cake" is based on Sven Nordqvist's beloved book about Pettson and Findus - perhaps the most cherished in the series. The cat Findus celebrates his birthday, which he does three times a year, and as always a pancake cake must be baked. But the flour has run out, the bicycle gets a puncture, and one mishap leads to another.

In 55 minutes there is an accidental tumble into the well, visits from both the neighbour and a runaway bull, and a truly unplanned sitting in a whole basket of eggs - before everything is resolved and neighbour Gustavsson is finally invited to the party.

Pettson is played by Martin Ibohm, Findus by Yasmine Östergren, and Gustavsson by Anders Brandel. Script, set design, and direction: Ingemar Bernthsson. Producer: Mycke Nöje i Sverige.
