Phelim McDermott's production is set in an amusement park inspired by 1950s Coney Island. The work - one of Mozart's final compositions - is typically described as the perfect ensemble opera and centers on two young couples in love, convinced of their eternal devotion to each other.

Soprano Federica Lombardi and mezzo-soprano Samantha Hankey sing Fiordiligi and Dorabella. Tenor Duke Kim and baritone Andrey Zhilikhovsky play Ferrando and Guglielmo. Bass-baritone Gerald Finley reprises his role as the cynical Don Alfonso, and soprano Ana María Martínez plays the maid Despina.
