Herrelös

Marc is nearing the end of his stay at a rural treatment home. He has been drawn to the small church on the grounds - a quiet place where, for the first time, he can feel like himself. As he helps prepare Sunday's service, the doors burst open: his two best friends, Dunder and Butterfly, arrive loud, confused, and determined to take him home.

They try to understand what has happened. Why doesn't he like Yasin anymore? What are those angel tattoos on his arm? And of course he should come with them now that he's doing better - especially since gang leader Satan financed the entire treatment. In the middle of all this stands Marc: torn, pressured, and afraid of what might happen to his friends if he doesn't go back with them.

Herrelös is written by Danish playwright Frederik Timm, inspired by his short film of the same name, and translated by Bikkie Samson. Directed by Farzin Fatih. The production is a Riksteatern Barn & Unga production, performed for adults and young adults in autumn 2026 and for schools in spring 2027. Running time: 1 hour 15 minutes.
