Marc is nearing the end of his time at a small rural treatment centre. He has been drawn to the little church on the grounds - a quiet place where, for the first time, he can feel like himself. As he helps prepare Sunday's service, the doors burst open: his two best friends, Dunder and Butterfly, arrive - loud, confused, and determined to take him home.
They try to understand what has happened. Why doesn't he like Yasin anymore? What are those angel tattoos on his arm? And of course he should come with them now that he's doing better - especially since gang leader Satan financed the whole treatment. In the middle of it all stands Marc: torn, pressured, and afraid of what might happen to his friends if he doesn't go back with them.
Herrelös is an intimate, explosive story with a playful glint in its eye, about community, loyalty, and the moments that determine the rest of our lives.
