Marc is nearing the end of his time at a rural treatment centre. He has been drawn to the small church on the grounds - a quiet place where, for the first time, he can feel like himself. As he helps prepare Sunday's service, the doors burst open: his two best friends, Dunder and Fjäril, arrive loud, confused, and determined to take him home.
They try to understand what has happened. Why doesn't he like Yasin anymore? What are those angel tattoos on his arm? And shouldn't he come with them now that he's finally doing better - especially since gang leader Satan financed the entire treatment? In the middle of all this stands Marc: torn, pressured, and afraid of what might happen to his friends if he doesn't go back with them.
Herrelös is an intimate, explosive story with a playful glint in its eye, about community, loyalty, and the moments that determine the rest of your life. The play is written by Danish dramatist Frederik Timm, inspired by his short film of the same name, and directed by Farzin Fatih. The cast includes Emir Waldmark, Paulus Roséen, and Hanna Carlsson.
The production is a Riksteatern Barn & Unga production and plays for adults and young adults in autumn 2026, and for schools in spring 2027. Performance length: 1 hour 15 minutes.
