River Biographies

Älvarnas biografier is a meditative headphone-based artwork by artist duo Lundahl & Seitl (Christer Lundahl and Martina Seitl). Up to forty participants put on headphones and together recreate the movement of water - from source to sea - through simple movement instructions that form a shared choreography, interpreted by each person according to their own ability.

The work exists at the intersection of choreography, sound art, and nature experience, and each performance is shaped by the location, the participants, and the waterways nearby. The audience is not a spectator but part of the work itself.

During the Riksteater tour, the performance is presented in Swedish. Duration: 50 minutes.
