River Biographies

Älvarnas biografier is a meditative headphone-based artwork by artist duo Lundahl & Seitl. Up to forty people put on headphones and together recreate the movement of water - from source to sea - through simple movement instructions that each person interprets according to their own ability.

The audience is part of the work, and each performance is shaped by the place, the participants, and the waterways nearby. The work moves in the borderland between choreography, sound art, and nature experience. Performance duration: 50 minutes. During the Riksteatern tour, the work is performed in Swedish.
